Hooray! It is international Chocolate Cake Day! Sounds like the perfect day to share a recipe for a delicious, simple chocolate cake. Here is what you will need:
Ingredients
150 grams of sugar
200 grams of butter
200 grams of dark chocolate
5 eggs
1 tbsp of flour ( around 20 grams)
Utensils
20cm Springform
Baking paper
Wooden spoon or whisk
2 bowls – one bigger than the other
How you m(b)ake this bad boy
1. Start with pre-heating your oven at 190 degrees celsius. Next, cut a circle out of the baking paper to add to the bottom of your springform
2. Melt the chocolate together with the butter au bain-marie
3. Gradually, add the sugar to the melted chocolate and stir well. Let the mixture cool down a bit
4. Add the eggs one by one into the mixture, you can use a wooden spoon or whisk for this. The batter should be smooth before going to the next step
5. Add the sifted flour to the mixture and stir
6. Scoop the batter into the springform
7. Bake the cake for 30-40 minutes at 190 degrees celsius. Make sure the cake is done, however it should be soft and moist on the inside. Let it cool down and take it out of the springform
