ViCentra appoints a new VP of Research and Development and a new VP of Regulatory Affairs & Quality to its management team

     

ViCentra’s new VP of Regulatory Affairs and Quality, Sophia Lam, is an experienced Quality & Regulatory Affairs professional with over 23 years of experience in leading quality organizations in the medical device industry.

She has demonstrated success in designing global quality management systems through the appropriate use of risk management philosophy. Sophia brings significant experience in leading organizations in the preparation of regulatory filing. She also has experience regulatory inspections, product development, remediation projects and continuous improvement actions.

Ruairi Duffy, ViCentra’s new VP of Research and Development, is an experienced product, people and technology leader. Prior to accepting this position Ruairi worked as CTO at NightBalance. He also worked as Head of Medical Device Engineering at Merck. Ruairi brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in successful design and medical device product development which will be invaluable to ViCentra’s future success.
